Tuesday 8th March (Pemberton – Conto National Park)

Left Pemberton camp and visited The Gloucester Tree, The Cascades as well as Beedelup Falls before journeying on towards Augusta.  Called into a very nice free camp by the Blackwood River to have our lunch where there were lots of caravans dotted around the campsite, then it was on to Leewuin Lighthouse and The Calcified Water Wheel just past Augusta to have a look and take some photos. We drove along Caves Rd which is the scenic drive and the trees and winding drive is nothing short of stunning.  Absolutely loved this drive into Conto National Park where we will stay tonight. A big day today of sightseeing with not too many kilometres which is all good by us.
