Friday 29th January - Packed

Less than 24 hours before we hit the road and the weather is absolutely revolting.  Waited until the last minute before pulling the caravan out of the garage, rain and hail but thankfully no wind and not cold. Van is all packed and we are ready to go.  Stuart & Sue have left already, staying the night in a motel close to where they collect their hire caravan tomorrow.  Saturday night will see us all meet up at Happy Jack's Rest Area at Lockwood South. Joy & Wayne are arriving from Harcourt to meet us before we all head off in a "convoy" towards Rupanyup on Sunday.  This is the town where Stuart grew up. Then it is on towards Brim where we plan to stay overnight on Sunday night.

 So wet, can't even see Lake King.

Monday 4th January - Countdown

It is now less than 4 weeks until we head off to WA with Joy & Wayne for 3 months.  Our first night will be at Lockwood South free camp with Maree & Paul where we will spend the night and leave on the Sunday morning when Joy & Wayne arrive.  Today Barry put a full length mirror on the bathroom door and we started to pack a few things under the bed.  We are slowly putting everything into place and getting very excited about our next adventure.
