Saturday 12th March (Walebing - Kalbarri)

Very, very noisy night right beside the main highway with HUGE roadtrains flying up and down the road not 20 metres away from us.  Had no idea it was going to be this busy or we would have kept on going. The only good thing about the camp was the meals cooked at the roadhouse, a lovely hamburger and chips for Barry and fresh salad and chicken snitzel for me...yummmy. Glorious morning and now on our way to Sandy Cape National Park where we may spend 2 nights.  Unfortunately there is a sign telling us that the camp is full and we are not going to chance it by traveling down 7kms of dirt road only to have to travel 7kms back again. So plan B is that we are now going straight to Kalbarri, rang the caravan park and did a little "bargaining" and have managed to get $10 off per night if we stay for 12 nights so that is exactly what we are going to do.  The boys are planning now on doing a fishing charter and Joy & I are planning to totally "Chillax". A warm day today of approx 32 degrees so now looking forward to getting into the Caravan Park where there is a pool.....yiiipppeee. Came up behind and passed a Long Wide Load today of 6.1 metres, I love the CB chit chat and the way they have a Pilot car and managed to get us all safely pass, B Doubles, cars & Caravans hardly inconvenienced at all...great job.  Would love that for a job, if I wanted to work that is...and I don't.
