EASTER SUNDAY
There was quite a bit of rain during the night, but no
problem at all getting back out of the campsite. We ended up spending over 2 hours at Gwalia
ghost town as well as the open cut mine and the Museum all of which were really
fascinating. Morning tea was in the car
park and consisted of beautiful sticky date hot cross buns that I toasted with
our cuppa….yummy, yummy. Rain seems to have settled in for the day as we travel
to our next campsite which is going to be Niagara Dam. Plan on staying 2 nights there before going
into Kalgoorlie for 2 nights so Wayne can get his car serviced. Joy isn’t
feeling flash with a sore throat so we will rest here beside the dam which is
lovely. Terrific campsite but
unfortunately the rain is spoiling it a bit.
