Tuesday 2nd February (Murrayville CP – Moana CP)

Overcast and quite warm to start the day, forecast predicts rain so we will see what eventuates.  Heading into the caravan park at Moana for 4 nights and really looking forward to being by the beach and swimming in the salt water every day. It is now absolutely pouring so we have had to pull over and have an early morning tea at Peake to sit out the downpour. Back on the road now heading towards Tailem Bend before turning towards Wellington to cross the mighty Murray River on the Ferry.  Have arrived in Moana and set up our camp for the next 4 nights.  The rain is supposed to ease tomorrow and we can then expect some nice warm weather.  All this rain has apparently been caused by Cyclone Stan up near The Pilbara.
