Left Kalgoorlie on an absolutely magnificent day. Stopped at Coolgardie to have a look around
the Museum and then headed off towards Norseman. Lunch at Norseman and was very disappointed
to find that the swimming pool is now closed for the "off season"….. Must have
missed out by ONE day, 30 degrees today and was really looking forward to a dip in their
pool. Have tucked ourselves at the back of a rest area that I have decided to
call April Fool as it isn’t in my book so I can name it, that’s my reasoning
anyway. It is a beautiful night with a
terrific Happy hour. Another caravan has
just pulled into our camp but far enough to be no problem, probably looking for
a bit of security with our caravans in here. We called into Fraser Range
Caravan Park to have a look as we were contemplating staying there
tonight. Glad we didn’t we were all very
unimpressed, $22 for an unpowered site, $30 for a powered site and $30 each if
you wanted to have fish & chips with a salad. We all decided that our camp at April Fool
was much nicer and free.
